Biography:

Marlon Sobol, MT-BC, LCAT, is a professional musician, drummer, percussionist, Board Certified Music Therapist, and Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, in the state of New York. Sobol’s musical pedigree runs in the family. His father was a master clarinetist, concert producer, and educator and his mother is a concert pianist and music educator. Marlon began playing drums at the age of 3 and formally studying at the age of 8. He has performed with world class musicians including Richie Havens, David Amram, Candido Camero, John Zorn and has recorded on Matisyahu's Grammy nominated "Youth" and "Arise… Shake off the Dust." He has been featured in the NY Times, the Journal News, and Drum Magazine. Marlon is the bandleader of the Moshe Sobol Band and runs Komitoms, Inc., providing music therapy, interactive drumming, and special event programming throughout the tri-state area and country.
